Going where they live with what they need and providing this assistance free of charge is how City Help’s food distribution program ensures that basic nutritional needs are met. The feeding outreach provides bagged groceries to 9,500 families a week!
Our mobile food distribution program delivers bagged groceries of USDA and Albertson’s “Fresh Rescue” foods to homeless, low-income and food insecure families at 31 sites throughout the inner city of Los Angeles.
Serving 40,000 people per month, recipients include single mothers, families living below the poverty level, disabled individuals, the unemployed and the elderly.
